In the late 19th century, a photographer ignited a small quantity of magnesium powder and turned night into day. That moment, modern photography was born. Later, it was this same metal that was used in the flash bulb, making flash photography safe and portable. We look towards casting aside primitive limitations in a similar fashion. We have no offices, we have no staff. We are well-connected and global. We prefer to deal with clients who understand that to survive, one must be light and strong, like the metal from which we take our name.
Jim O’Connell still uses magnesium flash bulbs for some of his photography.
