He has covered U.S. presidents, hurricane aftermath, hostage crisis’, protests, brush fires, huge 25-foot plus waves on the north shore of Hawai’i, volcanoes on the island of Hawai’i, hanging out of helicopters doing aerials, traveled throughout asia (China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Burma, Cambodia).
Lum is equally adept working in challenging and competitive work environments, working from challenging vantage points and sending images via FTP on tight deadline from the field. He is also a skilled product photographer using a technique called ‘painting with light’. Available for assignment.
