Finance Minister Hirohisa Fujii Steps Down


Tokyo – Citing ill health, 77-year-old Japanese Finance Minister Hirohisa Fujii, (seen here in October, shortly after taking office,) has announced he will step down, according to the Nikkei News Agency.
Fujii will be replaced by Naoto Kan, Hatoyama’s deputy prime minister.
